It's alive… It's ALIVE!!

The Gazette  has breathed it’s last and first breath today with it’s final issue as The East Hartford Gazette, a publication of the Journal Register Company and the announcement by Bill Doak on the editorial page that it will become The East Hartford Gazette, locally owned.

In an interesting twist Bill Doak, current editor/?new owner?,  has promised to not only reduce advertising rates but fix the delivery problems that have plagued the paper and led many to say “What’s the Gazette?”.

I eagerly await the first issue of the new paper.
