Town being sued for 2006 police action
While researching the Masters Club and Pitkin Street cases I came across a docket that was filed July 31st of this year.
It appears that a Mr. Jermayne Eubanks had a run in with the police just over two years ago, July 31st 2006 to be exact, in which he was tasered and detained after disputing a police officers request that a friend move his car. He was charged with creating a public disturbance. He was convicted in October of 2007 and fined $35 plus $40 in court fees. Now he is suing. Get a load of the requested amount at the bottom. Supposedly there is a video of the incident out there. It’s not on youtube or google video that I could find.

It appears his record is otherwise clean except for a pair of speeding tickets and a collection attempt from a junk debt buyer, Midland Funding LLC.
